He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester C. Gerber and Viola M. Bohm Gerber; his wife Rosemary J. Adami; his son Alex J. Gerber of Peoria; and his siblings, Lester C. Jr., Jerrold A. and Bonnie L. Schaffer (Randall J.).
He is survived by: his children, Christopher W. Gerber (Molly) of Manatee County, Fla. and Jacqueline M. Gerber of Cleveland, Ohio.; his sister Betty L. Robinson (Bill) of Pekin; and his grandchildren, Cassen C. Gerber (Hannah) and Kali R. Sosinsky (Asher). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
