He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ray, Jean Gorman, Ken and Olive Yocum; and his aunt Sandy Amato (Lee).

He is survived by: his parents, Jim Yocum and Kathy Yocum of Dunlap; his spouse Brandy; the mother of his children Brandy Yocum of Dunlap; his children, Reid and Morgan Yocum of Dunlap; his siblings, Andy Yocum of Chicago, Katie Yocum Musisi (Daniel) of Chicago and Alison Yocum Johanson (Dave) of Denver; his aunt Margie Rosenberger of Pittsboro, IN; his uncle Ken Yocum of Medina, OH.; and his nieces and nephews, Olive, Desmond Musisi of Chicago, Kaya, Maxine and Kendall Lynch of Dunlap.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First English Lutheran Church (725 E Forrest Hill Ave, Peoria, IL 61603). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Kerry's legacy of generosity and caring is carried out through his donation to Gift of Hope. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to American Cancer Society.
