With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Keyaun Schmitt Hardimon (Peoria, Illinois), who passed away on October 1, 2025 at the age of 15. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Keyaun Schmitt Hardimon to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his parents, Leonard Schmitt and Kenyuanna Hardimon; his siblings, Armani, Kanye, Kang Schmitt of Peoria, Zaria Schmitt of Blytheville, Arkansas and Tyree Bernett; and his grandparents, Sandra Hardimon, Ezell Hardimon (Rosetta), Dennis Schere and Ann Logan Scherer. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Refuge Worship Center (2201 SW Adams St, Peoria, IL 61602). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
