He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hardesty and Anne Katherine Harvey Hardesty; his daughter Molly Hardesty; and his siblings, Janice, Barbara and Jim Hardesty.
He is survived by: his wife Stacey Hardesty; his children, Nathan Hardesty, Gabrielle Hardesty and Chloe Hardesty; and his grandchildren, Michelangelo, Gianluca, Giuliana, Lilliahna, Luciano and Leonardo.
