He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Krigbaum and Pearl Krigbaum; his son Kevin; and his brothers, Ronald and Richard Krigbaum.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Zuidema of Peoria; his daughter Dena Krigbaum (Jason Hatfield) of Marquette Heights, Illinois.; and his grandchildren, Julia, Madelyn Krigbaum, Cole, Carson Metzler, Zachary Janes and Dalton Baker.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (116 NE Perry Ave, Peoria, IL 61603). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be given to Loaves and Fish at First United Methodist Church-Peoria.
