He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lavery and Helen Lavery (Madigan); his wife Sharon Keyes; his siblings, Pat Branch and James Lavery; and his son-in-law Marcus Adams.
He is survived by: his siblings, Katherine Marinas, Mary Lewis (Bob) and Michael Lavery (Angela); his children, Amy Gregory (Eric) of Greer, SC, Jeanne Adams of Peoria, IL and Pat Lavery (Leslie) of Peoria, IL; his grandchildren, Clayton Gregory, Kody Anderson (Jocelyn), Nichole Beman (David), Amanda Lynn (Jason), Christina Lavery, Matthew Lavery and Brandon Lavery; and his friend Phil Salzer. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Catholic Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
