He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Thompson and Beverly Thompson (Roberts); his son Andrew Davenport; his sister Dianne Pineda; and his granddaughter Breanna Goff.
He is survived by: his children, Autum Morden (Josh) of Davenport, IA, Candice Johnson of Sterling and Brett Thompson (Heather) of Clinton, IA; his sister Dr Rhonda Thompson of St. Simons Island, GA; his close friend David Brockman; and his brother-in-law Wayne Timbs. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 2 great granddaughters; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to his children.
