He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold White and Ada White (Robinson); his wife Katheryn McFarlin; his children, Larry, Linda Bussell and Joy Smith; and his sister Ethel Johnston.

He is survived by: his children, Janet Long, Phillip White (Linda), Rick White, Terry White (Sharon) and Tyler White. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
