She was predeceased by: her father Larry McArthur; her stepfather Alan "Bruce" Waithe; and her grandparents, Milzella Bennett, Claude Bennett, Erma Lee McArthur and Robert McArthur.

She is survived by: her parent Ora Bennett-Waithe; her children, Alaka Bennett, Shizair Bennett, Shimar Bennett and Alnisha Mickle; her grandchildren, Jordyn Marizetts, Austyn Marizetts and Akari Bennett; and her siblings, LaTisha Bennett, Michelle Fowler (David) and Derek Waithe. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends who were touched by her kindness.
