It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd Edward Reece Jr. of Peoria, Illinois, born in Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmagene and Lloyd Sr.; his stepfather Mitchell C. Agers; and his sister Phyllis Fourdyce. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia C. Reece of Peoria, IL.; his daughter Aimee N. Waller; his son-in-law Jeremy S. Waller; his granddaughters, Anna and Riley; his son Cooper A. Reece; his daughter-in-law Monica M. Reece; his grandchildren, Kadence and Phoenix; his stepson-in-law Cheska C. Capahi (Miguel V. Capahi); his children, Kirsten A. M. Reece of Peoria, IL, Nicko V. Reece of Peoria, IL and Lillian G. Reece (Linda K. Hunsucker) of Peoria, IL; his grandchildren, Robin, Roxanne, Ray and Richard; his sister Cindy M. McLain of Creve Coeur, IL; and his sibling's children, Michael and Jennifer.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Davison-Fulton/Bartonville Chapel (1203 W Garfield Ave, Bartonville, IL 61607). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Club Phoenix II (4206 W Pfeiffer Rd, Peoria, IL 61607).
