She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Orus R. Shrum and Marcella Dot Shrum (Winsor); her children, Chad McLee of Peoria and Amanda Allen of Peoria; her grandchildren, Madison Ornelas (Daniel) of Plainfield, Javion McLee of Peoria, Shiloh Allen of Peoria and Janessa McLee of Peoria; her great grandchildren, Leo and Melani Ornelas; and her siblings, Joyce Kuykendall (Dale) of Metamora and Jim Shrum (Pat) of East Peoria. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
