She was predeceased by: her parents, Hershal J. and Mary E. Knackmuhs (Drake); her grandson Dustin Messer; and her sisters, Judy Bennett and Penny Sue Knackmuhs.
She is survived by: her husband Delmar Charles Messer, II; her children, Marnita Wade (Jim) of Pace, Florida, Delmar Messer, III of Pekin, Michael Messer (Carrie) of Pace and David Messer of Pekin; her grandchildren, Jeremy Hancock, Marcia Wade, Marissa Hancock, Dillon Messer, Chawn Messer and Katlynn Bartush; her sister Rita Knackmuhs of Pekin; and her grandchildren, Jack and Sophia. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
