Marcus Olson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marcus Olson of Peoria, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 3, 2026 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Olson and Ida Olson (Anttila); his wife Elaine Stolpe; his sons, Richard M. "Ric" Olson and Joseph A. Olson; his grandchildren, Derek and Lindsay Olson; his son-in-law Gerald "Jerry" Brady, Jr.; and his siblings, Ruth, Virginia, Wesley, Allan, Paul, Gordon, Roy, Ted and Weldon.
He is survived by: his children, Michael P. Olson (Laurie) of Peoria, Susan I. Brady of Edwards, Jane A. Golowski (Mark) of Peoria and Patti L. Keegan (Bob) of Germantown Hills; and his sister-in-law Helen Olson. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Peoria Youth Hockey Association to support Learn to Play programs and scholarships.
