She is survived by: her children, Tonja, Smith Alexander, Johnnie Smith, Dr. Barbara Alexander (Maverick), Andre (Dee), Beamon, Dhana Alexander, John Smith Jr. (Jocelyn), Verneic Fluker (Kenneth Sr.), Tara, Nunn, Wasima Smith, Denise Clark (James) and Mark Fleming (Angela); her grandchildren, IIsha Hudson III (John D.), David Brown Jr. (Lauren), Toni Wade Sr. (William), Billy Smith and Erika Smith; her goddaughter Aminta Carter; and her cousin Louis Jackson.
