She is survived by: her sisters, Carolyn Rhinehart (Robert) and Janet Ratcliffe; her children, Daniel Schmidt (Judy), Anne Barker (David) and Stephen Schmidt (Robin); her grandchildren, Olivia, Maxwell, Joel, Ella, Makayla Schmidt, Zachary (Hannah) and Bethany; Paul and Sheryl Zwart.
She loved many verses and shared them with others, including Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."Memorials in Marilyn's honor can be made to Grace Presbyterian Church, and Breakthrough T1D (for juvenile diabetes research).
