It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn R. Vogt of Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on September 6, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Closen and Rosella Closen (Burdess); her husband Joseph H. Vogt; and her brother Richard Closen. She is survived by: her children, Teresa Storti (Matt) of Chillicothe, Nora Boyer (Chris) of Arlington Heights and John Vogt (Linda) of Marietta, GA; her grandchildren, Sarah Storti, Megan Daigle (Luke), Joe Boyer, Jack Vogt, Elisabeth Vogt and Ryan Vogt; her great grandchildren, Josephine Daigle and Audrey Daigle; her sister Carol Lacanski (Steve) of Peoria; and her sister-in-law Liz Nelson of Virginia.
Preferred memorials in Marilyn's memory may be made to Christian Buehler Home or St. Philomena Catholic Church.
