She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leslie Watkins and Rose Watkins (Ely); her husband Bruno D. Palmer; her siblings, Wes Watkins, Al Watkins and Myra Greenslet; her daughters, Michele Green (Thomas) of Peoria and LuAnn Clark (Michael) of Shenandoah, VA; her grandchildren, Benjamin Green, Katie Clark, Nicholas Clark (Rachel) and Abigail Clark; and her siblings, Georga Mellen of Peoria and Joel Watkins (Cherri) of Chillicothe. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
