He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Verena of Peoria, Illinois; his children, Claudia Allolio (Hanno) of Port Moresby and Christian Grossmann (Susan Monce) of Monterey, California; his granddaughters, Eva Allolio of Freiburg and Germany (Joséphine Allolio); his brothers, Hans Werner Grossmann (Lilly) of Switzerland and Kurt Grossmann (Emmi) of Switzerland; and his father Hans Grossmann.
