She was predeceased by: her parents, James, Sr. Hughes and Annie Hughes (Jefferson); and her siblings, Walter Hughes, Robert Hughes, Arthur Hughes, Thelma Cooks and Lula Hughes.
She is survived by: her sisters, Cherry Williams of Peoria, IL and Ann Jefferson of St. Louis, MO. She is also survived by nieces, grand and great nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
