She was predeceased by: her parents, Lauren Shelton and Thelma Shelton (Daugherty); and her sister Patricia (Patsy). She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Regina Belton (Jeannie), Pam Romine, Sharon Grove, Martha Heberer, Drew Schultz, Bret Shelton and Gary Shelton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the University United Methodist Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
