He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Davis and Gertrude Davis; his wife Elsie "Pat" Carpenter; his sister Frances Schlichter; and his daughters, Jeanette Esrig (Glen) of Ensenada, MX and Deborah Armstrong of Peoria, IL. He was also cherished by three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
