He is survived by: his wife Jo Branan of Peoria; his children, Dan Taylor (Marianne) of Washington, Jennifer Stahler of Peoria and Kevin Taylor of Pekin; his grandchildren, Noah Taylor (Sarah), Zac Stahler and Chloe Taylor (Jonah Zigler-Harris); his sister Joy Lynn Flatt (Keith) of East Peoria; his nieces, Toni Beer (Rick) and Samantha Flatt (Jason Schitzinger); his great-niece Elyssa Beer; and his great-nephew Jackson Beer.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Wright & Salmon Mortuary (2416 North North Street, Peoria, IL 61604). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
