He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Roy and Sylvan Roy; and his brother Luke Roy. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Roy (Goldsby); his children, Michelle Sill (Eric), Brittany Clarke (Joshua), Brett Roy (Ashley) and Christopher Roy; his grandchildren, Bailey Roy, Morgan Clarke, Riley Clarke, Addison Roy and Gunner Sill; and his sisters, Cindy Rechner, Debbie McGrath, Leslie Spreitzer, Mary Cromer, Pamela Roy, Katie Hakey, Elizabeth Lembke and Sally Dant.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Resurrection Cemetery (7519 N Allen Rd, Peoria, IL 61614). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
