She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezell Burton and Elle Burton (Nesbitt); her children, Neveda Bell and Joe Bell, Jr.; and her siblings, Darnell Burton, Nathell Burton, Tommy Burton, Joe Melvin Burton, Robert Burton, Martha Burton, Jewel Hardimon and Dorothy Burton.

She is survived by: her husband Joe Bell, Sr.; her grandchild Destinee Bell; her great grandchildren, Cruz Gonzalez, II of Peoria and Tezzaire Gonzalez of Peoria; and her brother George Burton (Shirley) of Chicago, IL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, God children, friends and lifelong friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Star of Hope Full Gospel Church (417 W Romeo B Garrett Ave, Peoria, IL 61605). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
