Nicholas K. Southey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 3, 2025, at the age of 32, Nicholas K. Southey (Peoria, Illinois) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nicholas K. Southey to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Herbert Southey Jr. and Gordon Brown; his aunt Julie Southey; and his uncle Brian Southey. He is survived by: his parents, David Mark Southey and Andra Jo Brown Southey; his children, Brynlee Grace Moser and Kyler Dash Southey; his sister Stephanie Southey; his grandmothers, Evelyn Southey and Portia Brown; and the mothers of children, Melody Webb and Chelsea Vinson. He is also survived by aunts and uncles, over 20 cousins, and numerous second cousins, along with many lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the St. Philomena Catholic Church (1000 W Albany Ave, Peoria, IL 61604). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kenny's Westside Pub (112 SW Jefferson Ave, Peoria, IL 61602).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sand Gnatz baseball team by Venmo @SandGnatz or Cashapp $Sandgnatz. Contributions in Nick's name may also be made to Peoria County Animal Protection Services (PAWS).
