He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Gallagher and Evelyn M. Lewis Gallagher; his wife Judith A. Everetts; his brother Michael Gallagher; and his siblings-in-law, Sarah Gallagher and Thomas Everetts.
He is survived by: his children, Amy C. Shinogle (Ronald) of Peoria, Timothy P. Gallagher (Carmen) of Peoria and Jennie M. Gallagher of Peoria; his grandchildren, Emily Ervin (Justin) of Port Tobacco, MD, Ellen Shinogle of Los Angeles, CA and John Shinogle of San Francisco, CA; his great grandchild Evelyn Ervin of Port Tobacco, MD; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Everetts (Pamela) of Washington, IL, Marsha Everetts of Peoria, IL and Kathleen Koors (Randolph) of Chillicothe, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
