He is survived by: his significant other Michael Dugard; and his siblings, Linda Day of Jacksonville, Christine Birch (Donnie) of Mason City and Terry D. Day of Jacksonville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Cathedral of Saint Mary of Immaculate Conception Peoria (607 NE Madison Ave, Peoria, IL 61603).
