We are sad to announce that, on April 15, 2023, at the age of 86, Peggy A. Kirchgessner of Peoria, Illinois, born in Streator, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Sitzmore and Ellen M. Sitzmore (Sturgeon); and her siblings, Betty Davis, Myra Myers, Walter Sitzmore and Rex Sitzmore.

She is survived by: her husband John Bernard Kirchgessner; her children, Timothy Kirchgessner (Sharon) of Washington, Teresa Kirchgessner of Peoria, Stephen Kirchgessner (Julie) of East Peoria and Stacie Kirchgessner of Peoria; and her grandchildren, LaTrista, Gabrielle Sims, Ingland, Kevin Wilkerson, Latrese, Sharese Kirchgessner, Dieuseul, Anna Francois, Bryce Kirchgessner, Heather Kirchgessner, Brad Kirchgessner (Caitlin), Allisyn Kirchgessner, Kimber Caudle (Lewis), Brian Bivens and Derek Bivens. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
