He was predeceased by: his parents, Sterlon Matheny and Elizabeth Anita Matheny; and his brothers, Mike and Joe Matheny. He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his siblings, Gloria Flynn and Tom Matheny; his children, Chad Jones (Alison), Jackie Billington (Jordan) and Justin Jones (Jacqui); and his grandchildren, Jilian, Reese, Lincoln, Harper and Stella. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mason-White Funeral Home (20 Valley Forge Dr, Washington, IL 61571). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Elk's Lodge #20 (1 Elks Dr, Peoria, IL 61604).
