It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Retha Branscumb (Peoria, Illinois), born in Hughes, Arkansas, who passed away on August 31, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Payne and Lula Payne (Dullum); her children, Robert Foster, Sr., Richard Branscumb, Sr., Will Branscumb, Sr., Ommie Hines and Loletha Lobdell; and her siblings, Isaac, Johnny, Elmo, James Jackson, Isabella Patrick, Martha Hines, Gertrude Amos-Hines, Rosie Mae Jones, Lula Bea Riggins, Rosie Jackson, Eva Lou Cross and Letha Hines.
She is survived by: her children, Nathaniel Branscumb (Janet) of Indianapolis, IN, Ida Walton (Robert) of Cordova, TN, Ruth Branscumb of Peoria, IL, Valencia Hunn of Cordova, TN and Undonda Hightower (Darryl) of Peoria, IL; and her son-in-law Felix Lobdell of Peoria, IL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
