He is survived by: his wife Vera Hampton of Peoria, IL; his sons, Richard Hampton, III (Bliss) of Champaign, IL, Roderrick Simmons (Olivia) of San Diego, CA, Romel Hampton (Tonya) of Atlanta, GA, Renardo Hampton (Shanatta) of Peoria, IL, Reginald Hampton (Tiffney) of Peoria, IL and Reuben Hampton (Tia) of Indianapolis, IN; and his sister Jimmie Wright of Greenville, MS. He is also survived by grandchildren, three great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
