It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Olson (Peoria, Illinois), who passed away on June 1, 2019, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marcus "Mark" M. and Elaine Olson (Stolpe); his children, Lindsay and Derek; his brother Joseph A. Olson; his son Richard A. "Tony" Olson; his significant other Debbie Dew; his siblings, Michael P. Olson (Laurie) of Peoria, Susan I. Brady (Jerry) of Edwards, Jane A. Golowski (Mark) of Peoria and Patti L. Keegan (Bob) of Dunlap; Connie Couri of Peoria. He was also cherished by Several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Peoria Youth Hockey.
