He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Laylock and Betty Laylock; and his siblings, Joy McFarden and Walt Laylock. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Carrigan; his children, Jennifer Oetzel (Ben), Melissa Delk (Branden) and Kelly Desmarais (Scott); his grandchildren, Carrigan and Oliver Desmarais; and his sister Pat Starrett. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial contributions be made in Rick's name to the OSF Richard Owens Hospice Home or Alzheimer's Association.
