He was predeceased by: his parents, Gazel Almasi and Eva Almasi (Younkowski); his wife Patricia Marchand; his sisters, Josephine Settles and Patricia Stump; and his granddaughter Michaela Kokinda.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Almasi (Nancy) of Cedar Rapids, IA and Michele Matthis (Craig) of Bartonville; his grandchildren, Connor Almasi (Casey), Brooke Noack (Michael), Caleb Almasi, Zachary Kokinda and Trey Johnston; his great grandchild Samuel Noack; and his siblings, Joseph Almasi and Rosemary Oppe.
