Robert S. Jacobsen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert S. Jacobsen of Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on May 31, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben S. Jacobsen and Hazel L. Jacobsen; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Kelley (Mary) and Collis Massey (Mary). He is survived by: his wife Sara A. "Sally" Jacobsen (Kelley); his children, Patrick Jacobsen (Sarah) of Ashburn, VA, Michael Jacobsen (Nikki) of Prospect Heights, IL and Mary "Katie" Hite (Louis) of Washburn, IL.; his great grandchild Kohen; his sister Mary Massey; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Walvoord (David) and Kathy Lee (Raphael). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Philomena Catholic Church (1000 W Albany Ave, Peoria, IL 61604). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Philomena Church or St. Philomena Church.
