We are sad to announce that, on February 28, 2026, at the age of 98, Robert D Swartz of Peoria, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Robert's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Robert has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Swartz and Gladys Swartz (Dancy); and his sister Marilyn Hinton. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Buescher; his siblings-in-law, Charles "Chuck" Buescher (Barb) of Morton, IL and Dixie Cox (Don) of Ft. Myers, FL; and his nieces and nephews, Brian Cox, Eric Buescher, Jennifer Rudak and Anne Marie Adkins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Proctor Place.
