He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Croland and Rose Croland (Koningswood). He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patty" Harmon; his children, Joshua Croland (Jennifer) of Peoria and Melissa Croland (Marin Brandt) of Lake Worth, FL; and his grandchildren, Kennedy Croland, Zander Croland, Savannah Brandt and Olivia Hopwood.

Memorials may be made to OSF HealthCare Senior World or OSF HealthCare Richard C. Owens Hospice Home.
