He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold McClain and Katherine McClain (Armstrong); and his brother Richard McCLain. He is survived by: his wife Ann Grimley of Peoria; his children, Elizabeth McClain of Peoria, Michael McClain (Kathleen) of Hartford, Katie McClain (Brandon Potter) of Carlock, IL and Maggie McClain (Douglas Griffin) of Madison, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Danés, Aiden, Maisie, Finley and Aislyn; and his sister Susan Henry (Mike) of Wataga, IL..
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wright & Salmon Mortuary (2416 North North Street, Peoria, IL 61604). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
