She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Sr. Postlewaite and Victoria Postlewaite (Ammons); her husband Milton Payton; and her son Andrew Payton. She is survived by: her children, Frederick Payton, Talmage Payton (Marion), Kathy Payton, Karen Payton and Linda Helm (John); her daughter-in-law Mary Payton (Carter) of Peoria, IL.; and her siblings, William Postlewaite of Peoria, IL., Lester Mason of Peoria, IL., Timothy Mason of Peoria, IL., Victoria Smith of Chicago, IL, Shirley Davis and Eve Pearson of Peoria, IL.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
