It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sandra J. De Sutter of Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Wahl and Edith Wahl; and her sister Judy Hindahl. She is survived by: her sons, Mark De Sutter (Michelle) and Brian De Sutter (Julie); her grandchildren, Alex, Carter and Lucy; and her siblings, Mike Wahl (Linda) and Marlaine Parlier.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM, on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM and at 12:30 PM at the Bethel Lutheran Church (325 E Queenwood Rd, Morton, IL 61550). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Swan Lake Memory Gardens (4601 US-150, Edwards, IL 61528).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sandra's memory may be made to the Illinois Cancer Center, Bethel Lutheran Church, or the West Peoria Fire Department, all causes that were close to Sandra's heart.
