It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Kay Murphy of Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on May 16, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. Murphy and Catherine E. Murphy (Grinter); her grandparents, John M. Grinter and Frieda March (Borman); her great-aunts, Ruth Grinter and Inez Robertson (Fuller); and her great-uncle Frank Grinter (Laura).
She is survived by: her husband L. Carl Runge; her sister Charlene Henry (Tom) of Peoria; her sibling's children, John Orr (Shelley) of Chicago, Randy Orr (Dawn) of Chicago, Ben Henry of Chicago, Jon Henry (Jessie) of Oak Park, Kat Harvath (Joe) of Edwardsville and Lori Conway of Dunlap; and her pets, Sunshine, Rory, Aine and Milo.
