It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Murphy of Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on December 27, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Leo J. Frakes and Sarah B. Newberry Frakes; her husband Bill Murphy Sr.; her children, Nancy Hauser (Al) of Loveland, CO and Bill Murphy Jr. (Sandi) of Washington, IL.; and her grandchildren, Kelly Blanks (Todd), Erin Roe (Nick) and Sean (Lauren).

In lieu of flowers memorials in her name may be given to TAPS No-Kill Animal Shelter.
