She is survived by: her husband Greg Gerstner; her children, Tyler, Ellie, Lucas and Drew; her siblings, Jeff, Kris and David Mitchell; and her father David Mitchell. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home (2408 W Willow Knolls Dr, Peoria, IL 61614). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:49 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mary Mitchell Scholarship at Illinois Wesleyan University.
