Theresa Stinson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Theresa Stinson of Peoria, Illinois, born in Sterling, Illinois, who passed away on September 1, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard and Maude Peska (Brown); her brother Leonard "Sandy" Peska; and her children, Thomas Hughes, Christopher Hughes, John Stinson and Mary Beth Hughes.

She is survived by: her children, Laura Gilmore (Larry Gilmore), J. David Hughes (Jennifer) of Quincy, Florida, Tracey LaForge of Peoria, IL, Suzanne Ewalt (Jerry) of Galesburg, IL, Jo Schmidt (Terry) of Milledgeville, IL, Maureen O'Leary (Rusty) of Boise, Idaho and Steve Perry Stinson (Kelly) of Machesney Park, IL. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
