He was predeceased by: his parents, Helmut and Lina. He is survived by: his children, Charles Koelbel (Gina Goff), Heidi White (Joe) and Scott Koelbel (Beth); his siblings, Helmut Koelbel and Marlies Josten; and his caregivers, Judy, Carolyn and Ruby. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
