She was predeceased by: her parents, Lizzie McGowan (General) and Robert Crisler; and her siblings, John McGowan, Willie McGowan, Andrew McGowan, Alan McGowan, Rudolph McGowan, Mary Nichols, Rosie Frazier, Annie Bell Rogers, Selma Simons and Leona Smith.
She is survived by: her spouse Glispon Owens, Sr.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
