She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne L. Johnson and Delores M. Johnson. She is survived by: her close friend John Vogel of Peoria; her siblings, Albert Elston (Suzanne), Delbert Elston (Paula) and Rebecca Howard (Warren) of Pekin; and her stepsiblings, Dennis Caughey (Kim) of Chillicothe, Tim Caughey of Peoria, Cyndia Polhemus (Chris) of Germantown Hills, Rebecca Drum (Dave) of Washington and Linda Williams (Steve) of Morton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Peoria Blind Center or American Kidney Foundation.
