With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia A. Kreutz of Peoria, Illinois, born in Evanston, Illinois, who passed away on March 24, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, George T. McCartney and Lucy V. McCartney (Dwyer); her husband Robert W. Kreutz (Bob); and her siblings, June, Lucy, John, George, Robert and Irene.

She is survived by : her children, Barbara Hobin (Bernie), Mary Voorhees (Bill) of Peoria, Kathleen Vonachen (Bob) of Springfield, IL, Judith Mahoney, Michael Kreutz (Sue) of Peoria and Steven Kreutz (Christine) of Chicago, IL.. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Philomena Catholic Church or Esther House c/o Pathway Ministries, Peoria, IL.
