Virginia M. Welsh Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia M. Welsh of Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on November 14, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John C. Nickels and Marie F. Nickels (Koeppel); her husband F. Harold Welsh; her uncle Chris; her aunt Rhoda Koeppel; her brother-in-law James B. Kamin Sr.; and her nephews, James B. Kamin Jr., Standard Oil Co and Harold.

She is survived by: her sons, Richard Welsh (Tina) of Bartonville and Michael Welsh (Jennifer) of Peoria; her grandchildren, Rachael Manning (Charlie), Jessica, Adam, Holly and Henry; her great grandchildren, Riley and Maverick; and her sister Joan Kamin of Peoria. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. Mark's Catholic School or the Alzheimer's Association.
