He is survived by: his children, Amy S. Hambrick (Matthew) of Raleigh, N. C., Matthew W. Beckman (Megan) of San Diego, Calif and Melissa A. Ferraz (Alexander) of London, UK; his grandchildren, Will, Ben, Harrison, Cora, Jonah, Louise, Margot and Eleanor; his siblings, Bob Beckman and Joan Papis; and his fiancée Kathy Schumacher. He is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews.
